How Blood Donation Works in Stillwater
Because Stillwater does not have a permanent donor center, blood donations are collected through mobile drives hosted at community venues and on the Oklahoma State University campus. The process is the same as at any OBI center — just held at a temporary location.

What to Expect at a Mobile Blood Drive
- Check-in and registration — bring your photo ID
- Brief health screening and mini-physical
- The blood draw — takes about 8 to 10 minutes
- Rest and enjoy refreshments — plan about 45 to 60 minutes total
Eligibility Requirements
- At least 17 years old (16 with parental consent)
- Weigh at least 110 pounds
- Be in generally good health on donation day
- Valid government-issued photo ID required
- Wait at least 56 days between whole blood donations
